master garion 1 Report post Posted March 2, 2011 Hey chaps I'm pretty sure it's the final stage unit but just before I order the part, what is this other thing called a "blower resistor" p/n 64-11-8-391-749 (pic attached)? The digital ones usually kill the blower resistor(hedgehog lookalike), whereas the analog ones eat final stage units(one in your pic) (pretty sure only the digital ones have the blower resistor). There are 2 different parts here: - final stage unit (or "hedgehog") - blower resistor (as per pic in original post) RealOEM tells me my car has both parts. Given my problem (no fan at all, but everything else seems fine), which part do I need? I have automatic controls btw. JFry 1 Report post Posted March 5, 2011 I had the same problem a month or two ago. I got a 'new' hedgehog off Ray and it fixed it. From the research I did at the time, it seemed the hedgehog is the weak link with the digital units Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
