Brake upgrade.

Recommended Posts

In the middle of sorting out a wee brake upgrade for the E30.

Recommendations on Fluid/Pads?

Keeping the stock calipers as anything bigger will touch the wheels.

Already have SS lines ready to go.

And anyone have alternatives to front rotors something along the lines of this (I.E)

Would prefer slotted.

If you do get them zimmerman ones I'll be keen on some rears.

I got some znoelli slotted fronts for around $150 at trade price. They seem to be taking it pretty well. Although they are sh*t when they are cold.

PFC06 Pads. 0278.06.17.44 front 0279.06.16.44 rear.

DBA Rotors. DBA679SL/SR front DBA671SL/SR rear.

Braided lines are a good start.

Highly recommend cooling ducting & ducted backing plates.

If you have ATE calipers on the front, I would recommend solid slide guides, stainless pistons, new seals & nipples - all of which are available from BimmerWorld in the USA, though there may be some locals who bring stuff in.

^ Too bad bimmerworld's shipping to NZ is pathetic, the cheapest option last time I checked was $86 US, and that wasn't even a box of heavy things, more than likely a flat rate.
