E30-323ti 66 Report post Posted May 2, 2005 I've got a PC here at home that is running windows 2000. For some reason I can't get IE5 to connect to the internet and therefore can't download any Windows or IE updates which I need to install some more software. Mozilla works just fine though!?!?! Any Ideas??? Fooken PC's!!!
bravo 35 Report post Posted May 2, 2005 Either there is a prob with IE's Internet Connection Settings, or you have a firewall which is blocking IE. Are you behind a proxy server? Could be the proxy settings in your Internet Connection Settings. Sorry I can't be of more help this far away. Someone on broadband could VNC (remote control) your PC for you and try and fix it if you can't get it fixed since your internet connection itself must be working for Mozilla to work.
