BMRBOI 8 Report post Posted June 13, 2011 (edited) Hi guys, I will be putting a new engine into my 1992 e36 325i (non-vanos) within the next few months. I am currently gathering parts together to make life easier. I left my build list at work so i will post that tomorrow when i get the time. The car im aiming to build will be a street car which i can take to the track. I would like some advice/ help in choosing parts which i will require for my build. I am currently looking at buying m3 engine mounts, new tranny mounts and ali thermostat housing from pelican parts. If i was to purchase oil seals/ gaskets which ones are prone to leaking? Baring in mind shipping weight. Cheers Niroy Edited June 13, 2011 by BMRBOI
sweetm3 180 Report post Posted June 13, 2011 Not engine parts but: Cross brace, Spacer Set for Rear Trailing Arm Bushings, basically renew any bushes that will tighten up the suspension. Once your have your list together, I would check out Turner Motorsports, then email your list to Doug Mahar [[email protected]] get a quote off him as I have found their shipping cost are the cheapest and fast as they use FedX (with no mark up), Pelican use UPS. BMRBOI 8 Report post Posted June 13, 2011 Thanks mate, yeah my suspension is my first stop! I have aimed at replacing most bushes i consider to be worn out or sloppy. Already i can notice the difference. In general i am using pelican parts mainly because of how cheap some of the parts are, also i would only be paying one shipping price. Turner motorsport has so many things i wish i could have though! Not engine parts but: Cross brace, Spacer Set for Rear Trailing Arm Bushings, basically renew any bushes that will tighten up the suspension. Once your have your list together, I would check out Turner Motorsports, then email your list to Doug Mahar [[email protected]] get a quote off him as I have found their shipping cost are the cheapest and fast as they use FedX (with no mark up), Pelican use UPS.
