My First BMW

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, new to bimmersport, I have finally just purchased my first BMW E30. I've always wanted to own a BMW but have never had the funds to pay for one. Its a fully stock silver 1990 320i automatic (hoping to manual convert it in the near future) and not too sure on my plans with it just yet. So far i've thought of changing the wheels, some type of 15 or 16 inch alloys, not too sure what else to do at this stage. Any suggestions i'm happy to consider. I've previously owned a '94 Honda Integra (ashamed to say) and a '92 Nissan Skyline which I still own. Hope to speak to some of you in the future.

Saw that on trademe and looked like a good buy, reminds me of my e30 when i first bought it. It was exactly like that.

Welcome Brad, looks like a good base to start with, also reminds me of my car when i first got it. Look forward to seeing the changes over time.

Thanks blair, will be posting pictures etc of the mods in the future, just gotta save up for them, im aiming for lowering springs first, then some wheels and a manual conversion by the end of this year. Maybe also a touch up on the body work.

Hope she does as well for you Brad as she has done for us.

It's nice to see it go to an enthusiastic owner rather than to someone that's going to learn to drive in it or hack it to bits to modify it. It's a good straight shell and a good basis for modifying in future.

Maybe in future I'll see you out at a trackday with Jack and I'll take you for a skid in the Exige.
