Tommy 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2005 Yeah it was who I thought of first I'll grab that bumper of you too one day Ian. hey Ian you free next weekend? I'll have the parts for the short shifter by then so If your not booked could I ask for some help? :jap:
petone 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2005 That short shifter is one of the easiest things you could do. (just hope you don't have the sheet metal shifter, talk to carl if you do) Once you got the car jacked up its a 15 min job. Theres a few sites around that tell you how to do it. Just search for them. What lever did you buy? Z3?

petone 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2005 pussy! feel mine one day when i have a car to put it in! Whats the point going as short as you possibly can only to make it hard to shift? Doesn't seem like an advantage to me.
CaM 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2005 word that, it's not like it makes that much of a difference in gearchange times anyways.... if it does - goodbye synchros
