325i with M3 kit - E30!!

Saw a red '87 325 with mteck kit, lsd, other sundry mods and SUPERCHARGER! Asking $12500! I've txt'd the owner with my email, so will post details when I have them - keep it in mind. Actually considering it myself, but overseas holiday may preclude me having the funds...

Man that with a set of mean wheels, that could be one of the best looking e30s i have seen. Does it have a dogleg? Cause i reckon you'd want one. Has anyone seen this? It looks quite good. Interior could be better.

Man I'd pay $9,500 for that (starting bid).

Are gearboxes a common e30 problem? At under 150kms?

Im on a bit more than that, and I have felt the laxative-like wallet draining effect of melting a g/box before :(

It does look nice,

Needs the big M3 snow plow front lip and some

spacers for the wheels so they pump out a bit.

Would look f**king mean once done tho

While it looks like it has been well done, and is a nice looking car, to me it is all wrong.

An M3 is an M3, a 325i is a 325i, easy as that.

They should be pretty bulletproof. The only reason I had to get mine rebuilt was that someone had damaged the selector shaft when changing the seal, and the only way to fix it was to rebuild it (as the selector shaft needed changing).

looks cool except for mtech 1 front...just looks so narrow compared to the rest of it!

would be cool if it wasnt so $$$

m20 gearboxes are virtually indestructable....150k is nothing to worry about

Just doesn't look right, it needs that add on piece behind the rear windscreen. Don't really know how to describe it better than that. Mtech 1 front also kills the look a bit.

I think it used to be owned by James Daniels - who totalled it into a wall in a celebrity race - and it was rebuilt.

But, I could be wrong.

yes E30 M3's are 4 cylinders 2.3 and 2.5

Gah.. no 6 cylinder purr..

But they seem mean as anyways :thumb:

Why does this not make sense 2.0 6 cyl but M3 2.3 2.5 4 cyl.

As far as i know 6 goes after 4 in the German language.. so no problems there.

S14's are mean. They sound like they're about to drop a rod at idle.

S14 2.3 = 215hp

M20 2.5 = 170hp.
