cliffdunedin 8 Report post Posted September 1, 2011 Hey guys, my factory stacker wont read copied disks so am looking at replacing it with a new/newer one but am strangely liking the factory stereo. My Q is can i swap another Sony or xplode stacker straight over or will i need an adaptor? Cheers heaps.

Will take a pic this arvo Brent, cheers
my_e36 43 Report post Posted September 2, 2011 Burn them at a slower speed helps too especially if you use cheaper discs. I burn mine at 8x with iTunes.

Neal 544 Report post Posted September 2, 2011 Early BMW branded Sony head units should work with later CD / CD / CDR text stackers. I tried a 94 Sony Tape / CD stacker on a mid 2000's stacker which worked ok. Not sure about the MP3 versions though.
