Whats this compression reading like?

How are these readings for compression on a 1990 535is e34

1: 180

2: 165

3: 170

4: 170

5: 170

6: 175

not to bad , 180 is good 165 is getting down , but to be expected for one of these.

if down near 140 i would be looking at pulling the head off etc.

used to get upwards of 200 for a older e28 535i with higher compression pistons.

give it a good hot thrash and see if it comes up any

Always crack the spark plugs to release any carbon from around the plug, run the engine, remove all the plugs and do the compression test with wide open throttle.
