Mikal 4 Report post Posted October 9, 2011 The new rims I bought came with 245s on the rear which is far too big for the 36. They are triangle tyres hence the low price but have never been driven on and still have the coloured lines. Or I will trade for some 225s in good condition. Will post pics tonight. hybrid 1043 Report post Posted October 9, 2011 Not interested in a trade .. But I have a full (4) set of 225/40/r18 Dunlop Direzza DZ101 for sale with around 80% tread .. surplus to my requirement as I went to a 30 profile for the e30. If youre interested ? not keen on splitting them up, 400 for the lot.
Mikal 4 Report post Posted October 9, 2011 Tempting, but I already have some 235s that will go on the rears, just need 225s for the fronts. Cheers for the offer though

DrphTa 5 Report post Posted October 10, 2011 An E36 328 on 225's will be horrible it needs at least 235's on the rear and 245 are better, and direzzas are dreadful on an E36 Good for skids tho right?

Mikal 4 Report post Posted October 10, 2011 If I could, I would run these tyres. Offset of the new rims won't allow it though
bwh1 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2011 If I could, I would run these tyres. Offset of the new rims won't allow it though So funny, I live in Christchurch and just removed my wheels because of the jolly offset. Keeping my eyes open for something with the correct offset and at some stage sell off my rims (bugger....really like them)
Mikal 4 Report post Posted October 11, 2011 Haha yea but I bought these rims because of the offset
