Pod vs Panel

Whats the way to go?

Which one gives more power, which one will be better with insurance companys, which ones do you think look better nyho?

details on all this would be great, cheers guys

Pod gives better output im pretty sure the panels are just a substitute for OEM.

uh thats an m3....to do that on an m20 you would need different engine management....ive found a panel makes a difference over oEM and really there is bugger all between a POd and panel.....maybe a properly shielded off pod (from lukasbmw.com) would work better, but for ease of installation and that pimping stock look...go panel

Pod is sweet. Good sound. Better response, minimal power gain.

Issue with pod is that it will 'dangle' unless there is some kind of bracket.

I vote for panel (having one myself)

Definitely some difference from the factory standard to the K&N panel.

Quite obvious from 3500+ rpm, has some sound too~

Never had a pod in my cars, can't comment.

Panel would be insurance friendly as it's less obvious.
