*Glenn* 854 Report post Posted December 3, 2011 I wouldn't rely on any of those to be correct. Clear the codes, road test and recheck. These tyes of scanners are not reliable for correct information. Real term scanners giving actual faults in language rather than number type or "P" codes are more reliable.

DrphTa 5 Report post Posted December 3, 2011 So cleared the error codes and took it for a drive. So smooth now.. jesus. Only 1 error after the rescan and that is 2C[44] - Oil Level Sensor

hybrid 1043 Report post Posted December 4, 2011 With a proper scan with BMW software it would of told you if the error was static or sporadic. Static = the error is constant. Sporadic = the error happen only at a single point in time. Most of those errors would have been sporadic. Alot of DME errors are logged with a RPM status too. I would also see if you could check more than just the DME as well, EG EWS holds codes and IKE/ZKE. The DME only stores summerised codes and not detail specific info that other modules may hold. DrphTa 5 Report post Posted December 4, 2011 Thanks for more info Josh, wondered when you would chime in also Cleared and rescanned again this afternoon. 5 errors on the DME. Once reset and not driven I only receive 1 error and 1 shadow - 2C/64 Taking it for a scan this week at BMW. I now have a climing idle and it likes to stall in gear with the clutch in
DrphTa 5 Report post Posted December 4, 2011 Forgot to mention a prompt is displayed when I open Carsoft. "IKE no connection" IIRC, the ouput from the log only shows EWS info not IKE
