iBus plug installation

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone,

I'm interested in getting a copy of NavCoder, which I will purchase from the website and most likely getting one of the pre-made plugs sold from this website here: http://yourbmw.info/

My question is has anyone got any pictures or step-by-step instructions for the installation of the iBus plug for those of us who are technically inept? Does it require soldering etc or it it just a matter of connecting it up?

Also is there any local support in Auckland in terms of anyone who knows what they're doing who I could call on to do it for me if I got stuck - I'm sure we could work out some form of payment in either beer or money form :D

Thanks in advance.

Just put an alligator clip on each lead & connect into the nav harness wiring plug in the L/H rear corner

Red/green = battery, brown = earth, white/grey/yellow dots = ibus
