huff3r 347 Report post Posted March 21, 2012 Maybe they should've just used the word "look-a-like" instead of "replica"? Then the marketing would be pretty spot on.
m325i 709 Report post Posted March 21, 2012 I reckon this is a good buy for certain people. Lets face it, a lot of modern sports cars are bought for looks - they might not be rev'd above 5000rpm ever. How many Porsche's have you seen being driven by 50's housewives; and its the 'S' model. I think why - why would you spend the extra on an 'S' - in automatic!??
deeveus 81 Report post Posted March 21, 2012 hmmm.. the listing title is BMW 330ci Motorsport and they do not pretend it is an M3, even in the listing it says motorsport. Sure, the marketing may be a bit off but they are hardly trying to decieve people. The car isn't an M3. He's commented by saying "no expense spared" which would tell me that everything has been done but perhaps the most critical component that is missing is the M3 engine.
