_ethrty-Andy_ 2122 Report post Posted March 24, 2012 so went to jump in the car last night to go down the pub car started and backed down the drive, when it got to the end it died. car would crank but did would catch once or twice and then drop again. when it caught it was regular though as though only one plug was firing. swapped fuel relay as my first test. no change. swapped main relay for the heck of it, no change. took off fuel line to check i was actually getting pressure and was. by this stage i was getting abusive 'where are you' texts and i was in my good kit so didnt do any more repairs and took the trusty corolla instead. go back out this morning, key in the ignition starts up first pop as it always has. have started and stopped about 10 times today and every time sweet as so question is what else should i check? i need to replace the sparkplugs anyway but is there anything else one can think of? diagnosing isnt my thing when it comes to engines. cheers Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
