antil33t 90 Report post Posted April 17, 2012 Koni do a shorter standard shock. I have the full size ones and (king springs) 30mm lower, and that's fine. It's actually piss easy to do shocks and springs on an E30. Any GOOD Mechanic should be able to I'd say, or somewhere like Autolign. E30 Race Series cars use Konis and some form of King Springs, so they aren't bad. Wouldn't piss around with Compressed springs myself...
Lucan 196 Report post Posted April 17, 2012 How much you got for wheels? Have some 16x9 OZ Futuras and 16x8/9 BBS RS, could be tempted to sell a set if the price is right.

Yeah i have looked around and compressed springs seem like the best thing to do as can get lowered to desired height, without getting coilovers lol Do you have any pictures of the car with the king springs in? westy 614 Report post Posted April 19, 2012 You realise compressed springs are shithouse right? Rather cut springs than piss about with that crap.
antil33t 90 Report post Posted April 19, 2012 I wouldn't want to go any lower than this... dad's trolly jack doesn't even fit under the sump, or steering rack lol. Each to their own though.

westy 614 Report post Posted April 19, 2012 Far too soft for low heights and they're likely to coil bind on big bumps.
