F/S E34 525i Project

Hey guys

ive got to many bills and to many cars at the moment so im going to have to sell something

1989 525i

fairly tidy 525i in mettalic dark silver

light damage on front right corner, headlight frame damaged but possibly repairable as is grill. some damage to front of guard so either bog or replace. Indicator is fine.

Has a tow bar

No structural damage at all just broken plastic.

228XXX kms

engine runs well though can take a few pumps of throttle to get it started whilst very cold

gearbox was replace last year with another that has done approx 120kms

shifts smoothly

shocks are getting very soft but dont seem to be leaking and didnt get mentioned at last warrent

Lowering springs all around give it a good stance.

car has had a repaint from B pillar forward 3 years ago

paint is now lifting on roof bootlid and tops of rear doors

Brand new battery Nov 11 with 36 month warrenty

New plugs, fuel filter, water pump, refurbished radiator, oil and filter, gearbox oil flush Jan 2012

17x8 Atev wheels look amazing, some lifting of silver paint and some minor curbing but nothing major

has dunlop Formula R 235s on the back and bridgestone potenza 235/45/r17 on front.

Has schnitzer stickers and a very grunty sounding exhaust note so might be something done there.

interior is not bad has seat covers to hide torn seats and has missing stereo

aircon still works i believe.

has most of tool kit from memory but will check

good tidy up project or great for parts.

Selling as is For $800 with wheels

$600 without wheels

Also have a full leather interior i bought for it but never installed

Black electric seats front and rear, black leather door cards, black carpet

Have entire wiring loom and relay box to install electric seats in any e34

Will sell for $350 (much cheaper than whats on trademe or wreckers) and about $200 less than i paid

Car is in taupo

Interior is in tauranga at the moment

yea i put alot of consideration into doing it up or thrashing it on the race track but ive found moving out from a shared flat into my own house is incuring alot of costs, also provides a garage for the next project though haha

Is Schnitzer tuned a broken induction hose with special tape on it, no oil filler cap and the wrong sized battery??

the battery is correct, the oil cap was just off (tried to take a photo of the still bright silver cams and rockers)

the tape is HARTGE i believe but do correct me if im wrong
