Did anyone have any experience with Goodyear Eagle F1 Directional 5 tyres?

Thank you.

yes.

expensive.

but awesome grip dry but especially good in the wet.

In torrential rain I overtook cars on SH1 dribbling at 50kph at 100 and it was rock stable. Even through deep standing water. i was super impressed.

Great! Sounds like very impressive tyre!!! I have old Symmetric F1s on my car now and I love them, these apparently, are on another level though...

Have got and want more of these, unfortunately they are not making them now :(

They are super impressive! sh*t when cold but heaps of grip when warmed up.

You mean the old F1s or new F1 directional?

Opposing opinion,

don't believe in directional tyres every car I drove with them on felt worse than same car with comparable asymetric or non directional tyres

Goodyear is also Michelins "mid priced " brand so they compare them to other mid range tyres

Would you be able to describe what were the main differences that you found with the directional vs asymetric?
