vtgts300kw 90 Report post Posted July 8, 2012 (edited) Drove home and everything seemed fine. Got in the car in the morning and found the clutch pedal was dead, no resistance at all, it will return by itself when you release it. Master cylinder? The fluid level is slightly below MIN. Allanw 1071 Report post Posted July 9, 2012 Easiest to replace the slave and master together - both are cheap, and if one is gone, the other prolly isn't far behind, flush out the lines with some clean fluid before connecting the slave, in case there is some crap in it. vtgts300kw 90 Report post Posted July 13, 2012 It was the slave. Now the pedal feel is completely different, in a bad way.
*Glenn* 854 Report post Posted July 13, 2012 Replace the master cylinder as well.....as was suggested by another member. Then bleed the clutch properly with a well branded dot 4 brake fluid. If your not sure, get it checked professionaly
