stev0690 0 Report post Posted August 8, 2012 Hi my 520i 2001 has stopped lighting up in the lower part of the dashboard, i cannot see the odometer. Although if the key is in ignition still get the warning although some of the letters are missing, is it just a bulb fault or need expert to look at thanks
Andre3000 55 Report post Posted August 8, 2012 Usually a weak solder join is the culprit. Needs a specialist unless you're a careful diyer.
*Glenn* 854 Report post Posted August 8, 2012 The odometer will probably be a bulb. The check control will be a pixel board fault which will require a specialist to repair properly. Ring me if your in Auckland. (09) 2722546
