///MPROVD 131 Report post Posted September 29, 2012 hey guys my gearbox has started to make a rattle in neutral not sure what it could be, the noise goes away when i put the clutch in so im assuming its in the gearbox itself and will occasion not make a sound, it could also be rattling when im driving but i cant be sure, any ideas much appreciated Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
BM WORLD 1283 Report post Posted September 29, 2012 quite comon , alwso will depend on how low your car idles at what does it idle at?? was teh a/c on , headlights on etc?? if it has a lighter flywheel that will also cause it to rattle a little.
