BMW servicing workshop in Hamilton

Recommended Posts

Anyone who could recommend a descent bmw mechanic in Hamilton?

Fair prices and good workmanship is essential.

I've used SD European out past Te Rapa with no issues. Also heard good things about the mechanic on Riverlea Road

Can you elaborate further on "the mechanic" on Riverlea Rd? Cheers!

Got quoted $330 for a service. Does that sound expensive?

depends what it includes. thats like asking is $6k expensive for a car and not defining what the car is.

thats expencive. would be $80 if you DIY, and an oil change is easy. alternatively, i just checked, you do have an OilChangers in Hamilton, just go there.

Is it on an E39 530i? Just the "correct" oil will set you back $160 for 2x 5L packs (though you only need 6.5ish litres). E34 530i is probably cheaper - dunno how much they hold, but the oil is probably cheaper.

If it's a proper service, they should give everything a checkover too.

If it's just oil you want changed, you may as well do it yourself as above.
