Glovebox torch repair

Hi guys,

I have the torch which plugs into the socket in the glovebox, but it doesn't work. Are there any common faults with them? Is there an easy way to change the bulb? It wasn't immediately apparent to a non-skilled/practical person such as myself if that could be done.

i just have a little led torch in the glove box....10 for three at PlaceMakers etc but i like the idea of the std torch!

Ah great, this will be an excellent summer project for me to work on. I'm not fussed if it is LED or not but I do want the OEM torch to work.

I assume the battery could be had from any electrical supplier like JayCar or similar?

Was thinking along the lines of Visit My Website

I haven't confirmed that it will fit , but the specs seem about right. I need to do the same thing as I brought on of these around 1988 which no longer works.
