yng_750 247 Report post Posted December 30, 2012 yea will talk to dealer tomorow and get them to ship me one. it appears the radiator has been replaced and they reused that tiny piece. hard to tell when the old one has crumbled but im not sure if the tabs on the radiator are broken. they are both square and even height but dont have any notches on them to hold the nipple in. there is apparently a good plastic welder here in taupo so if its not held in securly enough i will get it welded in. will have to walk for next few days

Eagle 1662 Report post Posted February 8, 2014 I remember going thru this sh*t, couldn't source one from any BMW supplier to boot. Eventually through some research i discovered Mercedes actually use the same Behr(i think) radiators which have the same part, so ended up getting one for around $20 from local Mercedes dealer in Hamilton. +1 Mercedes and f**k you to BMW saying i had to buy a new radiator to get one. Can't recall the part number but im sure you can find it. Hope this helps.
