Went and had a look at it because I didnt know there were any other m325i in Palmy. Its is a mint car though.
E30stz 0 Report post Posted August 11, 2005 yay see genuine M325's / M3's had 15" mags.
Palazzo 477 Report post Posted August 11, 2005 Genuine E30 M3s had 16s, 5 stud, M325i has 15s. Same pesky, hard to clean shape though.
Mavrick 0 Report post Posted August 11, 2005 Yeah well im new to this bmw game so i was just speculating, i may be wrong. But to me it was genuine because it was exactly like mine and mine is the real thing.

Mavrick 0 Report post Posted August 11, 2005 Haha considering my car was parked a few hundy meters away? Gus: That would be the most obvious explanation, but why would someone go smaller??
Gus 5 Report post Posted August 11, 2005 crash busted the 15's and replacements cost $$ wanted them for a badass racecar project i could imagine for hours

DCEIVN 0 Report post Posted August 11, 2005 (edited) Haha considering my car was parked a few hundy meters away? Gus: That would be the most obvious explanation, but why would someone go smaller?? smaller diameter wheels (with smaller tyres too) = better accelration does it not? Nic325i 0 Report post Posted August 11, 2005 Genuine E30 M3s had 16s, 5 stud, M325i has 15s. Same pesky, hard to clean shape though. I don't think all M3's had 16's as standard - some of them (earlier ones?) only came with 15's. All would be 5 stud though.
Gus 5 Report post Posted August 11, 2005 smaller wheels same effect as raising your final drive ratio...so yeah better acceleration and the earlier m3's (non evo) came with 15's
Palazzo 477 Report post Posted August 11, 2005 I stand corrected. All the ones I've found were 16s, was gutted to find they were 5 stud as I wanted them to keep the original appearance, but with slightly bigger wheels on the two cars.
Gus 5 Report post Posted August 11, 2005 dont we all can convert e30 to 5 stud...too much hassle for too little benefit IMO (for me anyway) 16 weaves would be badass
Palazzo 477 Report post Posted August 11, 2005 Yeah they would be, but oh well, they probably wouldn't fit now anyway. Pity, 'cause they seem to be cheap, assuming you could use the ones off a 5 series. Maybe I'll spend the money on the rip I put in the back seat, Doh! Mavrick 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2005 Bem-on: yeah its in the rides section under 87 m325i, sorry dont know how to post a link.
topless 13 Report post Posted August 12, 2005 As far as I know you can't fit 14's on a M3, won't fit over the brakes...
