Internet security downloads

I've always been die-hard Windows. But I'm on my second Mac now. The thing is, it drives me CRAZY.

Being a student, most of the University IT programs I use for my degree require Windows, so I either have to do it at Uni or use my girlfriend's computer.

I'm at the point where I'm going to go back to Windows in the next month ...

Can you not use a VM for your Windows stuff?

Can you not use a VM for your Windows stuff?

Could do, but it's too slow for working in multiple windows, and several different programs.

A Mac for Uni Infosystems work is a liability.

For some reason I'm still an Apple fan boy <_< ... Well, I like the phones at least.

not the be all answer anymore my friend.

PC's are getting harder and the crims are getting diminishing returns.

I've dealt with more mac users infected with malware this year already than the previous two combined.

you have been warned

yep i said that as a joke really, well aware Macs are becoming more vulnerable now. I use Trend Micro, because its the only one i could find for Mac. but the Mac Mini in the bedroom for movies etc doesnt have any protection, but i dont use it a tenth as much as this here iMac.

I have a Windows 7 32Bit VM on my macbook pro for using carsoft scanners... works okay.

needs an SSD... and Macs need like 8GB of ram to be any good also. because Mac OS is a hungry sack of turds.

Not that anyone should really have less than 8GB of ram anyway if you have DDR3. it's not like it's expensive.

+10000 for an SSD. got one in my desktop kicks ass.

I downloaded the Microsoft Internet Security the other day - no complaints yet.

And I also need an SSD!
