JayCee 26 Report post Posted March 1, 2013 Hey guys, Just wanted to put a post out on this car: http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/...n-563893144.htm This is my girlfriends brothers car, I have been there through out the whole build. Shell: 1990 318i coupe Engine: M20b25 from PFL - Stroked and Rebuilt to a 2.8l; less than 1000 kms maybe even less than 500kms on engine, Uncracked dash, Genuine Mtech II kit M3 leather seats in excellent condition Full airbag suspension Angel eyes basically brand new 18" rims and tyres, Gaurds have been flared so it can almost lay frame on 18s Brand new paintjob, 2nd brand new paint its had in 2 years, Its an e46 m3 red apparently Sounds nice with eurotips. I personally would change the rims to bbs and replace tail lights to standards, Paint hood back to match rest of paint, Its a nice car and would be very reliable as almost everything has been rebuilt or reconditioned/ replaced. Maybe ideal for the right person, but i know alot of you bimmer fans would have different opinions, Just chucking this up for the bro as he doesnt really know too much about bmws to be honest. Have a look
Michael. 2313 Report post Posted March 1, 2013 Unfortunately those sort of mods don't really increase it's value to that level I don't think. Each to their own anyway, I guess theres always a buyer for this sort of thing.

But cars are a slack investment unless theyre mint original condition classic/vintage

JayCee 26 Report post Posted March 1, 2013 When you say "lay frame" what frame are we talking about? Chassis almost sits on ground when bags are depressed, but not quite. Sorry its a term associated by my mates with their minitrucks.
