318Touring 40 Report post Posted August 24, 2005 Hi, sorry it's not my BMW but my other car. It's a '86 Suzuki Alto automatic. And I've just noticed that these things are missing. Look at my picture and can any of you tell me what should've been there. First there's the hole which should had some cover on it? The scuff mark around the hole suggested that it used to have a cover. Second, there the hose that leads from the back of the fan to nowhere....... Should it have something attached to it? Cheers! topless 13 Report post Posted August 24, 2005 I would think that there is a rubber plug missing from the bellhousing. Some cars have a plug here which is removed to set the timing up.
