E90 parklight front

Recommended Posts

I've had a quick poke around, but cannot see how to get in to replace this bulb, is there something I'm missing?

2005 E90

Cheers.

which light? Do you mean the AE bulb? On the E90 its quite a mission, to replace it you have to go in through the wheel well

Turn the wheel on full lock. There is an access flap in the guard liner

The question I have, how do you get to remove the cover and unscrew the bulb without taking off the inner guard? You can access it via that inspection panel?

I dunno why they've made it so difficult to change bulbs, I guess it's to get people into the dealership!

You can't access it without taking off the wheel well liner.

It's a stupid design flaw, on e92s its easy a pie.

Yeah just as I thought really, which means jacking up and taking the wheel off and making easier access to nuts e.t.c

if you have the tools, then taking the wheel off would make life a lot easier. But it is doable just by turning the wheels full lock, it will give you enough space to work.
