BMW E39 Headlight Adjusters NEED HELP TO INSTALL

Hey guys,

So I tried getting into the headlights on the weekend and this proved to be impossible... managed to remove them from the car, applied the heat gun and being cautious tried to remove the plastic headlight cover and no luck.

Is there anyone on here that can help me install the parts I have for this as I NEED to get a WOF asap for the car.

Will happily pay $$

This is for the pre face lift if yours are face lift then I used an oven set at 60 c for 5 minutes to soften the sealing compound strip the headlight of ever thing first.

No one else can help on this front? I got pulled over last night and got let off but still... there must be someone here that has done this or can help...

Yes I have on a 2001 facelift 530i and a 540.
