joshpom 0 Report post Posted June 17, 2013 Hi, I only have one key for my bmw, its a five door beema. when i unlock the drivers door. thats the only door that opens. same with the passenger side and the boot. therefore i cannot open the back doors. i have checked the obvious (fuses. there is no button inside the car to open all the doors. any information would help if anyone has any clue of a way around this. regards Josh
euroriffic 609 Report post Posted June 17, 2013 Have had the same problem before. It's the locking solenoid inside the door that's stopped working.

_ethrty-Andy_ 2132 Report post Posted June 18, 2013 sounds like the central locking is dead, if its not working from the passengers door and boot. cant remember the setup on an E36 sorry, not terribly familiar with them, but shouldn't be the solenoids. something is stopping the signal upstream of that. If it was unlocking at the passengers and the boot then yes it would be solenoids
