Hey guys,

Putting my daily up for sale as I want to get back into a manual sports car again haha. Nothing major wrong with the car (it is 13 years old) and is undoubtedly one of THE best examples in the country.

Facelift includes:

-Clear LED tail-lights

-HID headlights angel eyes

-5 speed tiptronic w/sport mode

-Two way glass sunroof (tilt or slide)

Motorsport additions:

-Msport steering wheel(much nicer to hold than non-sport)

-Msport leather, heated and memory seats

-Mtech II sport suspension- an excellent blend of comfort and sportiness

-Shorter final drive

Additional options the car has:

-18" genuine forged BMW Style 37 M Parallel wheels. These are almost impossible to come across for sale in NZ. They cost around $1500USD in the used market. RE001 on all 4 corners with around 5mm of tread

-Rear sun shades

-Rare black alcantara headliner

Maintenance items include:

-New radiator and expansion tank in the last two years

-New waterpump, thermostat, top radiator hose + waterpipes, seals etc. Last week. Only genuine parts used.

-No fault codes as of last service

-Serviced at Botany Motor Worx

Things I have added on:

-Eisenmann sport muffler. Gives a slight burble to the V8, very subtle and quiet. Cost over $2000 to get into NZ

-Tints all round at car-folie

Of course, being a 540, it has a 4.4L V8 (M62TU), 300hp, 440Nm torque

The car is loaded with luxuries as you can imagine. The E39 was the "Best car ever made" according to some magazine reviews.

Comes with all 4 keys! (2 Master, backup and valet)

Will consider swaps or part trades with anything sporty and manual - mainly after a WRX, MR-S or Euro R with cash my way

Also have Umnitza Orion V4 angel lights for sale, brand new. Google it.

I imagine this sounds very decent with the Eisenmann muffler? They are quite a unique part and costly as you mentioned.

I have the Eisenmann sport muffler, not the Race, and it's actually very civilized. In cabin, you can hear a very slight increase in exhaust tone but those who've never driven an E39 would never tell. What's become more apparent is that V8 burble which is exactly what I'm after. The exhaust pops and burbles on over-run (quietly) from the outside though which is amazing.

It is daily driven though so the K's will go up, but then I'll be keeping on top of maintenance etc. DICE integration unit and upgraded speakers (see my thread in audio) MAY come soon, price will be adjusted to reflect.
