B12 Alpina at Turners in Penrose

Don't know if anyone here is interested, but looks tidy from photo.

110kms, and auctioneers estimate that it will go for $10k, so that means reserve is prob somewhere just below that, which for a '94 i personally think is a bargain.

Have you actually seen it in person, and vouch for its authenticity?

I was tempted to go and have a look at it yesterday afternoon. However I doubt its authenticity.

The first thing that got me was that the Alpina badge on the back is on the wrong side. Authentic Alpina's have their badge on the right hand side, and the model on the left.

Also, the price is a bit on the cheap side.

In saying that, I can't deny it is a nice looking car from the photo.

No havn't seen it and certainly will not vouch it's authenticity. However if someone is interested and wants to nip in and bid on it, that is entirely up to them - I was just bringing it to light as I don't know how many of you check the turners site.

Edit: plus a low km's 740 with leather other extras, alpinas and in good nick would be worth the $10k anyway.

I would have thought a real Alpina would have been manual not Auto?

this car has been round all the car dealers on the north shore -

(we traded it for 6 grand)

I'm fairly sure its not genuine.

Two things stand out.....number one is the CC rating of 3980, the second is that its right hand drive !

B12's were 5 litres and all were left hand drive. This looks like the 740 from TradeMe but I cant be certain as that was an iL wasnt it and I cant tell from the photos if the rear doors are longer.
