E46 idle faults

My daughter has a e46 318 that's idling to high there's no codes and no air leaks I can find any help please

throttle cable wound out to compensate for a faulty PCV or ICV .

icv units stick sometimes , need a clean and lube or replace with another.

pcv unit only last about 100k's or 10 years etc and should be replaced .

remove the oil cap or dipstick while running and if it sucks alot then its stuffed

Thanks Brent but the throttle cable isn't wound up I've checked that but are the valves expensive and are they on the side of the inlet manifold
