euroriffic 609 Report post Posted March 5, 2014 I am rebuilding a set of rc's and the wheel bolts I want are only available for rs's and they don't have the taper so are slightly smaller where they seat into the rim. Have read Afew guys still using them but am just wanting to see how much of a difference there is. So if anyone would like to send me one that would be good
gjm 3258 Report post Posted March 5, 2014 (edited) BBS RC rims are typically soft cast, the RS are forged. (There are specific differences with a couple of models.) These are RC bolts: These are available ex-stock from torquepartz.com. I'm guessing the bolts you have are plain parallel threaded all the way to the underside of the head? I have a set of titanium BBS fasteners somewhere. If I can find them, I'll measure them. Edit: The pic had disappeared. Fixt. euroriffic 609 Report post Posted March 6, 2014 Yea the ones I'm looking at are threaded to both ends where the rc's have the spline so they fit snug into the outer rim. Jasjot has told me he has rebuilt a set with rs bolts with no issues so will get them a go.
