My first Bimmer

Recommended Posts

So first time posting here (I think, don't really remember signing up but had an account) but thought I would show off my bimmer that my grandad give to me. Have done a couple things to it though. Loving having a bimmer and feel it's quite nice to drive and looks pretty classy (well to me personally). It's a 1996 318is.

As you can see I have done a few things too it:

- New headlights

- New taillights

- Interior Lights (under dash and replacement bulbs with blue)

- New mags

- BMW Valve caps

- BMW Bolts for licence plate

- BMW Sticker on skirt when you open doors

- Aftermarket headunit, speakers and sub

- Removed CD changer (more boot space and it's not installed anymore anyway)

- New badges for front on back

- New side indicators

Still got a few nigly things to fix such as sagging glove box, some covers missing for the seat belts and looking for some cleaner and better condition floor mats.

Going to take a few more pictures of the inside tomorrow.

So you look after it, add a few bits and pieces and guess what..? The addiction starts and you haven`t spent much at all. Mind you , you did perk it off Grandad..

Well I started with a 96 318is as my first...4 years down the line, and 6 bmw's later Im now owning a E39 540i..

318is are great cars, had 3 sitting in my drive at one point.

Awesome example!
