yng_750 247 Report post Posted June 17, 2014 Hi guys does anyone have a good reccomendation for cellphone repair or do it themselves. have an lg optimus c900k here that has the slide out keyboard, looks like the ribbon that connects the two halves has failed as the screen is patchy, sometimes works sometimes blacks out. but works when you slide the screen out a certain amount so fairly convinced its the connector dont want to spend stupid money but its not too old so worth repairing if it can be done. qube 3570 Report post Posted June 17, 2014 It must be the flex cable. Common issue on any slider or flip phones. Probably can get the part from ebay for $1 or $5 lol. Maybe take it with the part to any fix places and it might cost an hours labour prob $50?
