d.p.n.s 15 Report post Posted June 19, 2014 it is injected. And ive had a feel around the fuel pump and it doesn't sound or feel like uts working Sent from my GT-S7275R using Tapatalk
handgrenade 189 Report post Posted June 19, 2014 go to the engine bay, locate the fuel rail, take the hose off, and then turn the car over (be prepared to catch fuel). if no fuel comes out, try pulling out your fuel pump and checking it works
handgrenade 189 Report post Posted June 19, 2014 for spark, is it dizzy or coil pack or what? If it is EFI, then I would look to the ECU and/or wiring. sometimes even though the motor may look the same, it may run different electronics and connections. antil33t 90 Report post Posted June 19, 2014 It's an M20... so it's got a distributor and yes it's fuel injected. M20 e34's were all motronic 1.3, some e30's had early motronic (1.1) but you could swap all the sensors and sh*t over to the next motor which any smart person would do. I'd start googling "m20 not starting" heaps of threads and heaps of advice...
polley 916 Report post Posted June 19, 2014 Check they haven't accidentally swapped the crank position sensor plug with the sequence sensor plug
