angcil 0 Report post Posted June 25, 2014 (edited) Hello Bimmersport! I came all the way from Indonesia to study here in Auckland. I used to drive 325i E46 facelift as daily basis back in my hometown and I had worked in one of BMW Authorized dealership before I got here. I have a keen interest in BMW car designs, I don't really understand engine tho but I admire the aesthetics of the car I've been working as freelance photographer too for the last few years, and I love to shoot cars and BMW's car during my free time as my hobby. I still have lots of free time before my university starts [begins in 22th of july] and to be honest I'm a bit bored right now because this is my first week here in Auckland and I don't have that many friends to hang out or socialize with I'm still a newbie here in Auckland, NZ. I'd love to socialize and get to know with people who shares the same passion in New Zealand, then I found this awesome website! it's my pleasure to join such a cool forum here Does anyone have a free time and would love to shoot their cars? cause I'm really bored lol Anyway, here are some shot of my ride, enjoy! You have very good editing skills~~!! What sort of equipment/software are you using? Here Bimmersport we have a few meets coming up, so definitely feel free to come along and join us .. do you have transport? there shouold be a gathering of some of us next sunday! I use old Nikon D90 with several lens, would love to buy the new full frame camera but ain't got the cash yet nope man, don't have a car or any transportation here as this is my 5th day in Auckland. The next meet is this coming weekend at Kyus cafe in Penrose. http://bimmersport.co.nz/topic/49568-auckland-monthly-coffee-and-cars-meet/ Depending where you stay, you may be able to get a ride from someone who is passing close to you on the way to the meet .. The culture here is a bit more mature than some other car clubs in NZ. Granted that usually the purchase price of BMWs and European cars are higher than Japanese cars, and also maintenance costs are higher as well means that the general level of maturity is a little higher than your average import car club. Most/all of us really love our machines, and keep them legal and tastefully modified. Many of the members are older than your average 'young boy racers' and own great new machines, new M3s, M5s, 335s, restored e30s etc. This is all a generalisation though! Well at the moment I'm staying in Central Hostel which located behind AUT campus building, on st. paul street 47. in that case we have similar culture with my car culture back in my hometown hahahaha would love to do some silly things, keeps you healthy and young! E30 and e36 price can be anywhere. No set guideline because of what owners have done on it like maintenance and service.
