Nubie here :)

Recommended Posts

Hello Bimmersport!

I came all the way from Indonesia to study here in Auckland. I used to drive 325i E46 facelift as daily basis back in my hometown and I had worked in one of BMW Authorized dealership before I got here. I have a keen interest in BMW car designs, I don't really understand engine tho but I admire the aesthetics of the car :)

I've been working as freelance photographer too for the last few years, and I love to shoot cars and BMW's car during my free time as my hobby. I still have lots of free time before my university starts [begins in 22th of july] and to be honest I'm a bit bored right now because this is my first week here in Auckland and I don't have that many friends to hang out or socialize with :( I'm still a newbie here in Auckland, NZ.

I'd love to socialize and get to know with people who shares the same passion in New Zealand, then I found this awesome website! it's my pleasure to join such a cool forum here :)

Does anyone have a free time and would love to shoot their cars? cause I'm really bored lol

Anyway, here are some shot of my ride, enjoy!

You have very good editing skills~~!! What sort of equipment/software are you using?

I am sure many members would love to have your editing skills used on some of their photos~!

you can pick up an e30 bmw for quite cheap nowadays .. would be a nice daily car during your studies here. The next meet is this coming weekend at Kyus cafe in Penrose.

Depending where you stay, you may be able to get a ride from someone who is passing close to you on the way to the meet ..

The culture here is a bit more mature than some other car clubs in NZ. Granted that usually the purchase price of BMWs and European cars are higher than Japanese cars, and also maintenance costs are higher as well means that the general level of maturity is a little higher than your average import car club. Most/all of us really love our machines, and keep them legal and tastefully modified. Many of the members are older than your average 'young boy racers' and own great new machines, new M3s, M5s, 335s, restored e30s etc.

This is all a generalisation though! We've had some silly things done on some of our meets but we're trying!

Welcome!

Awesome shots! They are amazing.
You should head through to a few of the meets we all create from time to time.

BMW's are pretty easy to find at a fare price :)

Well at the moment I'm staying in Central Hostel which located behind AUT campus building, on st. paul street 47.

in that case we have similar culture with my car culture back in my hometown :)

hahahaha would love to do some silly things, keeps you healthy and young!

Thank you :)

yeah I'd love to hit the meets, hopefully I can make it one sooner or later on :)

I was thinking of getting an old BMW like E30 or E36 after I graduate from my study, because I have spent too much on my uni tuition fees :(

It must be awesome to if I could drive 325i here tho, cruising along from the city to suburbs with a sports mode~

you can pick up an e30 for $2,000NZD

Of course it may not be the best condition, but if you have time and the will, you can restore it to a nice condition :)

Yeah man, will consider E30 for daily ride.. I'm curious about E36 coupe or convertible, how much is it in NZ? because back in town those BMWs are pretty rare, and expensive!

E36 coupe

318 320 323 around 1.5-4000

325 328 4000-6000

Manual more expensive

All depend on the year kms colour msport options nz new or jap import.

E30 and e36 price can be anywhere. No set guideline because of what owners have done on it like maintenance and service.

My advicd buy a cheap e30 318 manual or a e36 328i coupe auto and you can convert to manual later
