speedyg 16 Report post Posted November 4, 2005 Does anyone know how much lower a E30 325i sits on mtech suspension vs standard suspension? The reason I ask is that I bought a bilstein streetline suspension kit while I was in the uk and brought it back with me as I was intending to buy a E30 325 when I got home. Now the car I have bought has already got the mtech suspension in it and the shocks are a bit tired. So do I change the shocks and springs or just the shocks as I don't want it sitting any higher. The kit I bought lowers the std suspension height by -40mm. Any thoughts? Or do I just put it all in and see what height it is at?
Guest Andrew Report post Posted November 4, 2005 mtech is like 30 mm - so the kit you got will be lower.

speedyg 16 Report post Posted November 4, 2005 Sweet, I'll be doing it today. I'll post some before and after pics, but I don't think you will see any difference.
speedyg 16 Report post Posted November 5, 2005 Done the rear end and having some trouble with the front (see maintanance) the rear now sits 7mm lower than the mtech suspension. :thumb: About what I was after!
