Suspension question

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know how much lower a E30 325i sits on mtech suspension vs standard suspension?

The reason I ask is that I bought a bilstein streetline suspension kit while I was in the uk and brought it back with me as I was intending to buy a E30 325 when I got home. Now the car I have bought has already got the mtech suspension in it and the shocks are a bit tired.

So do I change the shocks and springs or just the shocks as I don't want it sitting any higher.

The kit I bought lowers the std suspension height by -40mm.

Any thoughts?

Or do I just put it all in and see what height it is at?

Sweet, I'll be doing it today. I'll post some before and after pics, but I don't think you will see any difference.

Done the rear end and having some trouble with the front (see maintanance) the rear now sits 7mm lower than the mtech suspension. :thumb: About what I was after!
