antil33t 90 Report post Posted September 12, 2014 (edited) I have a flywheel which I planned to use for my E30, It's a Single mass flywheel, looked to be like an M20 flywheel, even came with an M20 Getrag 240, but when I went to bolt my pressure plate on to it, the pressure plate is slightly too small? is there any way to identify what flywheel this is? and potentially use it with a Getrag 260 and the correct clutch? Jibs05 86 Report post Posted September 13, 2014 i dont have any photos but my g260 flywheel (although aftermarket) has a lot more meat on the face where the clutch plate has contact? Its thicker at that face
e30ftw 410 Report post Posted September 13, 2014 From that side picture it doesn't look like an m20 one. Just the way the front face has a gap between the ring gear. I'll find photos of mine pretty sure I had side on ones. Maybe it's from a m40?
Jibs05 86 Report post Posted September 14, 2014 ^thats true as well, my ring gear is welded directly to it
