m2geek 4 Report post Posted January 21, 2015 Hey guys, Anyone have any recommendations for someone to fix my slightly foggy e39 headlights, their factory HID so its mostly to prevent the glare for other people (plus I hate the foggy look). Also, Recommendations RE window tinting? Who's trustable these days, its been 10 years since I last had a car tinted LOL.

Fai+H777 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2016 Do it yourself: tape off surround. Wet sand (always gently) with 1200 grit. Clean. Wet sand with 2000 grit. Clean. Compound with buffer. Wipe clean with liquid wax. Polish with buffer. Wipe clean with liquid wax. Wax. You can also re-clearcoat after the 2000grit, then use 2000grit to sand back the orange peel effect and get on to compound/polish/wax. Will come out like new.
