brake dust covers

Recommended Posts

an okay idea if you're a lazy bastard but may work against bake cooling and you'll lose the cool look of shiny brake rotors

Guest Andrew

agreed on the brake cooling - the brakes are designed to vent through the wheel (hence the brake dust)

What you could do is take the brake dust covers off from the inside of the wheel hub/strut that way the dust can at least go somewhere else and that too will aid in cooling

That idea is not new, previously seen on Ford Falcon.

Bad for break cooling on spirited driving

but I suppose you don't drive that crazy it should be fine.

LOL! Yeah, right! :P

You've just hit my pet hate!!

I loathe 3 spoke mags even more than chomes!!

I actually like my baskets, but don't seem to have the time I'd like to keep them shiny as I'd like.
