Air Bag light reset

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

Amateur mistake, I swapped out a seat without disconnecting the battery first and now have the air bag light on. I'm assuming this is just a reset? does anyone have a reset tool or can reccommend somewhere handy to the CBD (Auckland) I can call in to have done.

Happy to pay but would like to sort it tomorrow morning.

2003 E46 318i

cheers Matt

My airbag light decided to turn itself on after driving over an odd bump. Would you be able to reset a e36 airbag light?

Yes we can... but it's more likely a fault with yours. We can check it for you and diagnose what the intermittent fault is

Props to Glenn for running a quick diagnostic on my car. Seems like the electrical ring thing in my steering wheel has bitten the dust

Expected wear from something that is near 300km.

Also nice swapped e36ti there :)

Yeah the one on the steering column. My usual warrant guy probably won't know what to do and charge a fair bit so I'm looking at some other options. Maybe eventually take it to Ray? But he is always super busy
