Singapore imports

Recommended Posts

I have been looking at quite a few different late model Bimmers. 318,320,325

on trade me and I am finding that MANY are imported from Singapore?

Should buyers beware of singapore imports?

are they bargains or lemons?

thoughts please

Singapore imports tend to have problems with the electrics in there life time, probably better off getting a japanese car.

Yeah if getting a import, get one from Japan, having been to both Japan and Singapore I can easily see how Singapores climate can affect a car because it get so hot and humind where Japan is also hot but its dry heat like L.A or something so it genrally doesnt affect the car too much

We didnt have any electrical problems on our Singapore 97 320 but the condition of all the rubberized/plastic parts was poor, window trims etc.Mechanically it was a different story, but it did have 300k on it.
