With my e39, if i leave it on the last position of the key(fuel pump primed / everything on) for 20-30 sec it wont start.. just cranks But if i start it before the 20-30 seconds it starts?? BMTHUG 1058 Report post Posted June 10, 2015 crank sensor, blocked fuel filter, cam sensor, many different reasons why it would do this, maf, throttle body the list goes on, process of elimination if you are doing it yourself, if a mechanic is doing it most likely they will be able to pin point the problem Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
aja540i 1906 Report post Posted June 10, 2015 Mine has the opposite problem, if i try to start it before the steering wheel has finished moving down it just cranks and wont start, if i wait until the wheel is all the way down it starts first pop every time!
