bravo 35 Report post Posted December 13, 2005 (edited) 11.26 - and now i'm addicted. Where are you guys shifting?First shift just below redline, then 5.5-5.7 for most other gears - you get a faster start if you wait to press the accelerator till just on green rather than holding down or pressing early.Edit - pulling 11's on a car that has a 6 grand redline means it prolly turbs - so need to be able to rev between shifts to maintain boost dammit! Wheres the boost guage??? Edited December 13, 2005 by bravomikewhiskey

ipwnyou 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2005 Hah...I wonder what the terminal velocity of my car is? And yeah...you should have checked the glovebox...just after I pulled out of your place on sat i put my magnet ///M's on
Jazzbass 1 Report post Posted December 15, 2005 Vt= \sqrt{{2mg \over C_d \rho A}} where Vt is the terminal velocity, m is the mass of the falling object, g is gravitational acceleration, Cd is the drag coefficient, ρ is the density of the fluid the object is falling through, and A is the object's cross-sectional area. So I would need to know how high that cliff is to get the right measurments of the density of the air from that alitude - and also I would have to assume that the car falls in one positon as not to screw up the drag coefficient.Sounds like a project for a rainy day.
