Siezed door handle

Recommended Posts

Take off the interior door trim, carefully pry back the plastic covering over the door frame, then get some lubrication such as CRC or maybe some of that aerisol lithium grease and give it a spray while slowly and carefully working your door handle. I take it that the door actually unlocks. Fairly common problem given that the rear doors arent used due to the fact that once open you cant actually fit anyone in there!! Failing that you will have to disassemble it.

Well in that case I would be taking off your door trim and having a look - only a 10 min job to remove it all. You are still able to lock the car from the outside with the key?
